When going through distress, it is difficult to connect with your smile; yet your smile has the power to release the neurochemicals needed to change the state you are in and lighten the load, and your brain does not care whether your smile is real or orchestrated with a stick. The moment you smile, magic happens.

These are the last three stages of loss and grief: 3. 𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 — the hardest stage. Don’t rush or avoid it, as it is the measure of how much you loved the person you have lost.
4. 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 — the beginning of acknowledging that death is not personal and it happens daily, is not unjust, just the natural cycle of life. To be born means to die one day. Acceptance is about understanding and coming to terms with this reality, and it’s a crucial step towards healing.
5. 𝐀𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 — There is a shift from grief to the honoring of the person. What inspired them? What made them unique and special? What was their favorite ice cream flavor? What did they love to do?

To heal is to feel each one of them 🤍✨

2. 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 — the difficult questions that arise after the loss. Why? Why did this happen to me? A phase where there is a tendency to personalize the death experience and question everything. Anger is a natural part of the process, a deep cry and rebellion towards what is perceived as unfair.

Esta semana es la 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐥 𝐃𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐨, y hoy quiero hablar sobre una experiencia natural pero desafiante que enfrentamos: la pérdida de un ser querido 🤍

Choque, dolor, enojo, entumecimiento, tristeza, desesperación, impotencia y culpa son algunas de las emociones que pueden surgir. Estas no son exclusivas tuyas, sino parte de una experiencia humana compartida. Aunque la muerte es una certeza y un fenómeno natural, la magnitud de las emociones tiende a ser abrumadora. El duelo se mueve en ciclos. Tiene capas, y atravesar cada una de ellas es inevitable y necesario. Siente y llora sin restricciones; es la manera de regular tus emociones, igual que el sudor regula la temperatura de tu cuerpo. Lo que sientes es la medida de la conexión y el amor que compartiste con la persona que ha trascendido.

✨Si estás atravesando una pérdida, recuerda que hay una red de apoyo disponible. No estás solo en este camino. Como parte de la humanidad, lo enfrentamos juntos, y hay personas dispuestas a ayudarte a sobrellevar este momento difícil.

Grief moves in cycles. It has layers, and going through each one is inevitable and necessary. Feel and cry without restriction; it is the way to regulate your emotions, just as sweating regulates your body temperature. What you are feeling is the measure of the connection and love you shared with the person who has transcended.

✨If you’re going through loss, remember, there is a network of support available. You are not alone in this journey. As part of humanity, we face it together, and there are people ready to help you through this difficult time.

There always exists an observer, a neutral and wise entity, devoid of judgment, witnessing all your thoughts, emotions, and reactions. This observer is your higher self or fourth dimension; the more you acknowledge this aspect of yourself, the more it expands, enhancing your presence. It also serves as a constant reminder that nothing is permanent and that both sides are necessary. With one, you experience joy, and with the other, you foster growth. 💫
